How caching works

TTL comes from the origin's max-age header, clamped to platform limits rather than trusted outright

How long a cached response stays valid is normally decided by your own server's caching instructions.

WebOptiva reads that, but also applies its own sensible upper and lower limits, so an unusually long or missing setting doesn't cause problems.
