Connect a domain
A domain starts life PENDING while you point it at WebOptiva. Every origin URL you configure — for the domain itself or for later audits — is checked against a safety guard before anything fetches it.
How it works
- Enter a hostname and the origin URL WebOptiva should proxy to
- Complete domain and SSL verification before acceleration can be enabled
- Once verified, the domain moves from PENDING to ACTIVE
Good to know
- Removing a domain is a soft delete — it moves to DISABLED rather than being erased
- Local testing can target a registered domain by sending an x-weboptiva-host header instead of real DNS
