Purge Logs sits on the Cache screen with date filters and domain scoping
The purge log answers "was a purge run, by whom, and did it work?" — the question that comes up most often when a page looks stale.
1. Scope the domain first#
Set Filter by domain in the dashboard shell to the hostname you care about (or All domains). Domain selection limits the rows to that domain, so a purge storm on one property never hides activity on another.
2. Open the log#
On the Cache screen choose the Purge cache tab. Below the Purge cache form, the panel's eyebrow shows the request count for the current window (for example 12 requests) and its heading is Purge logs.
3. Filter by date#
The From and To date filters set the window; press Apply filters to run the query, or Refresh to re-fetch the same window. An empty range is a valid answer: No purge requests match this range. tells you no purge touched that domain in that period.
4. Read the table#
Columns are Request, URLs, Actor, Status, and Requested — the same information as the read-an-entry walkthrough, at a glance.
5. Page through history#
Use the pagination control below the table to change rows per page (10, 25, 50, 100) and move between pages. The summary line reads Showing 1–10 of 34 requests, so you always know how much history you are looking at.
Expected result#
A dated, domain-scoped list of every purge request, newest first, with its outcome — enough to answer a support question without a database query.
Narrow the window, not the scope#
Date filters and domain scoping work together: set the domain first, then choose the window that covers the incident — for example the hour around a deploy. Widening the window afterwards is easier than repeating the query, and Refresh re-runs the current filter rather than resetting it.
What the count means#
The eyebrow above the heading reports how many requests match the current filters, which is a quick way to confirm a purge ran without reading rows: a deploy that triggered three purges should show three new requests at the top of the list.
